Complete Privacy- The romantic seclusion of each unit offers totally enclosed, private courtyards. Each unit has its own fenced in private area including your own personal outdoor hot tubs. Most of our cottages also include private hammocks.

Go Fish- Turtle Beach Resort was a fishing camp 40 years ago. We now offer many private docks where you can fish for Snook, Red Fish, Sea Trout, Sheepshead, and even small Tarpon. We supply everything but the bait. Grab a lounge chair, a cold drink and a fishing rod and head on over to our docks for a great way to spend the day.

Location- Our locations offer some of that Old Florida Charm it's very hard to find anymore. We offer ground level, individual units for your own sense of privacy.

Ecotourism- in the waters in front of Turtle Beach Resort, you will find islands designated as a natural habitat for wildlife. The waters are teaming with fish and dolphins visiting daily for a gourmet meal. The rare manatees are often seen and heard by our docks at dawn, dusk and even midday. Birds, pelicans, ospreys, and herons all make their home in front of Turtle Beach Resort on Little Sarasota Bay. So take one of our kayaks, canoes, rowboat, or paddle boat, a camera, some sunscreen and EXPLORE!

Pet Friendly- You're not the only one who needs a vacation and at Turtle Beach Resort, we offer accommodations that pets are welcomed in. At our dog friendly resort your "best friend" can enjoy paradise with you. The resort is also located about 10 miles north of a dog friendly beach on the Gulf of Mexico.

Tucked away at the South end of Siesta Key Island, the resort has been transformed from a fishermen’s village of days gone by into a secluded paradise reminiscent of old Florida. Our cottages are hidden under Banyan trees and palms surrounded by lush tropical gardens. Wooden walkways winding through the resort leads you to a waterfront pool, relaxing hammocks, fishing piers, canoes, kayaks, and waterbikes available for your enjoyment. Our guests are frequently visited by Charlie the blue heron and his entourage of dolphins, ospreys, bald eagles, pelicans, wild parrots, and our own sea cows, the manatees.

What about the beach? A three minute walk around the lagoon you will find Turtle Beach, a Caribbean style beach on the Gulf of Mexico. You can also take one of our canoes to a gorgeous secluded beach about 10 minutes away. Just a four mile drive and you will find Siesta Key Beach, world famous for its fine, white "baby powder" sand.

Serenity is Turtle Beach Resort. You could be here the whole week and nobody would know. Each cottage has a relaxing hot tub secluded in a private courtyard.

Within a ten mile radius you will find hundreds of restaurants, art galleries, a national museum, performing arts venues, an opera house, movie theatres, golf courses, a library, shopping, bars, Myakka State Park, and an International Airport.
